  Spur of the moment decision to eat here turned into an amazing experience as Sally gave us the warmest Cornish welcome and even took care of a crying baby while parents ate their meal.
  
  Food was excellent, fish cooked to perfection and house wine is a great value.
  
  Highly recommend.

  Food lovely. Tables laid nicely and overall nice cafe. However I think some of the staff have been doing it too long and have lost a lot of their enthusiasm. Staff were essentially friendly, but I felt tension with the staff, like they were doing 'just enough'. We were all smiles but the staff that served us could barely make eye contact or crack a smile. When I paid I warmly said thank you that was nice, but again no eye contact or smile. Perhaps staff are a little worn down here? Just a minor point, as I said the cafe and the food was great. Lose 1 star for slightly tense attitude of staff.

  Visited Wadebridge last summer and discovered the Granary in the high street, it was ideally located, had a great choice of food for the whole family, with different specials and all locally produced from scratch. John the chef is a real character and well worth meeting! What holidays and the eating experience is all about. High recommend a visit.
